·        Use of BIFCA logo

Members can display the BIFCA logo on company letterhead, company literature, promotional material, etc.

·        Updating of technical knowledge

The Association organises a number of events at which members, others in the industry, and users of industrial furnaces can update their knowledge of technical topics, standards and legislation. These events include the annual Standards & Safety Seminar and the BIFCA Technical Courses.

·        Representation of the industry's views

BIFCA has direct contact with a number of UK Government departments.

BIFCA is a founder member of CECOF, the European Committee of Industrial Furnace and Heating Equipment Associations and through this body we have contact with the EU organizations that are involved in the production of Regulations and Directives - CECOF also facilitates contacts with similar organisations in parts of the world e.g. USA (IHEA) and Japan (JIFMA)

·        Marketing opportunities and business enquiries

From time to time BIFCA is represented at major exhibitions - members can display their product brochures on the BIFCA stand, free of charge. Members will also have the opportunity to display promotional material on the UK Government Trade Missions or to participate in these events.

Members will receive business enquiries through their participation in the BIFCA website and from enquiries sent to the BIFCA office.

·        Harmonisation of Standards

BIFCA has representation on the Committees that are involved in producing standards for the industry.

·        Networking opportunities

Opportunities to meet with others in the industry through attendance at meetings, seminars and courses.

·        Dissemination of information

Documents of interest, from a variety of sources, are forwarded to members.
