Other Training- CEA
The Combustion Engineering Association (CEA) is a not for profit charity and is a membership organisation aiming to help industry in all aspects of boilers, burners and combustion related issues.
The Conference workshops currently running are aimed at helping industry understand the changes in legislation and guidance produced either in the UK or in the EU and to help influence such legislation and guidance.
For many years industrial guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been in place called PM5, but many in industry have not kept up to date with the changes and have not carried out technical boilerhouse risk assessments to achieve compliance with BG01 and INDG436, under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulation (MHSWR).
CEA have a, Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme called BOAS which will accredit both operators and managers who are responsible for looking after boiler plant. They are trained by approved training providers and assessed by independent assessors.
